I cleaned the wall with sugar soap and the wall was painted with matt cream color. The paint was applied with the roller and the wall is in the lounge. I applied two coats and after the fist coat dried it looked okay but after the 2nd coat dried the patching appeared.

I unknowingly bought silk paint and after painted the wall twice it turned out all patchy and horrible. I do not want to see silk paint ever again! How can I fix this? Can I paint matt over or is there anything I should be aware before painting with matt? I am putting the house on the market and...
