Hi Ken, Yes it is in quite a small area and at low level. There is an area on the other side of the wall behind the bath that I cannot see. It did occur to me that there might be a leak there but I wanted to get some opinion before I went about taking the tiles off to explore! Now you have said...

Hi Ken, Yes there is a bathroom on the other side. There are no obvious leaks, and there doesn't seem to be any issue with the paint on that side though. Mark

Hello Everyone! I wonder if anyone can tell me what the cause of this is? Is it simply damp? Which is surprising to me as it is an internal wall with no other sign of dampness. Or is it something to do with how it was painted after it was plastered? Or something else? By the way.. it wasn't...
