Anyone got a Travis Perkins account?

Yeah I will thanks. There was a time my local TP beat any other prices by miles.

Anyone got a Travis Perkins account?

Yes I agree. I have an account with a local small firm who aren't too bad but will sneak prices up if they can. I lost my one with Jewson as the plant hire manager took liberties too many times and I refused to pay all the bill.

Anyone got a Travis Perkins account?

It's been a long time since I bought from TP but I'd like a quote as this is for a big job. These days your account and prices are online. But the prices are terrible. So does anyone know if the online account price takes into account your trade discount?

Can you pour screed in sections.

Well I got a price for liquid. It was about £2k pumped. Price for sand ( I assume 3 to 1 mix?) from another company was about £400 Tamp it yourself. I used the pump people for the foundations and it didn't go very well so I'm a bit dubious hence why I was wondering about doing it in smaller...

I It's not far off 3 times that. Not sure a concrete wagon can get close either. I take it you had it delivered?

Can you pour screed in sections.

Just wondering if it's ok to do this in sections on different days to make it easier. Perhaps with some rebar or an expansion gap. Thanks if you can help.

Buying a car online unseen and warranties.

That is a shock. I think a policy with them bought seperatly from a dealer costs£1000 a year unless I read it wrong. I saw a dealer today using a company called warranties 2000. They have a high trust pilot score and it's a little over £100 a year.

Buying a car online unseen and warranties.

I just heard back from a company in Devon. It might be innocent but all the photos of Their different cars are all parked outside different houses. I would have thought they'd all be in on the same lot.

Does that include an AA warranty bought from the dealer?

Buying a car online unseen and warranties.

I had a look at auto trader's explanation page. They say you get plenty of time and you're covered by the 2015 act. Also they say you have more rights of you don't view it before it's delivered. Then you get the cooling off period. But who knows how true that is.

Buying a car online unseen and warranties.

Probably about 10 years. I was thinking of spending £5 to 6k. Having looked around it seems a little bit more would get something that's Euro 6 (ulez compliant). I go to London only a few times a year so I don't particularly need ulez free but if more and more areas start doing something similar...

Buying a car online unseen and warranties.

I'm not in the mood for a gamble these days. I can't be doing with problems. And I'm not really good enough with a spanner. I'll have a look on trust pilot thanks. I'm not in Kent these days so it's more of a bother. I'll have a look that website though thanks. I guess I was hoping that the...

Buying a car online unseen and warranties.

As car dealers are rare and over priced where I'm living im thinking about buying from a distance. Anyone got any thoughts about having one delivered unseen? It would save time and bother. Auto trader say never buy without seeing the car except from dealers in their site who offer this service...

How on earth do you value a car before buying?

Thanks everyone. I've been thinking the same sort of things. So I'll try and get an idea of prices being asked. I googled what's a average for a haggle and it reckons 11 percent. Also I suppose if there's a warranty and a fresh MOT ect that could explain a higher asking price. I've got a couple...
