Right - heater element changed (genuine part), but the code f-03 persists and machine is just pumping cold water through. I've checked the wiring to and from the element and can't find any breaks and all of the connections seem ok. Time to get an engineer?

Probably just me being weak, but I've spent a couple of hours now on my ass, one foot on the cover, one stopping the motor/drum moving and the feckin' thing won't budge. Getting an engineer out is looking good.....

I'm struggling to get the heater element out of my washing machine and now the nut on the retaining bolt has come off. Any tips?
