I know or - the commissioning certificate shows cleaner was put into system but he never came back to flush it out. Perhaps there's sludge so will ask engineer next week to check!

Unfortunately it isn't the Plus model - there's no additionally ports on the side of cylinder as ACV website pics show. There's one unused port on the top of the cylinder but no idea what it is for!

Is it a fair assumption that with or without a 25L buffer the percentage of time the boiler is firing during each cycle time for whatever heating demand remains the same? The only way to reduce fuel consumption is downsizing nozzle?

That's it - a two pipe buffer is less hassle I think but no disadvantage to a 4 pipe system

I've looked at buffer tanks and a lot of advice for a 25L or 50L is to run a two pipe system and by doing that no extra pumps are needed. A T pipe connecting buffer to flow and a T pipe connecting return to Buffer Tank.

The nozzle on the Warmflow could have been reduced to 1.35 but not certain.
