Hard to tell to be honest. I've never used the bath. I tried it just then and flow seems ok, the water is hot, but i can keep my hand under it so not that hot. I seems the same temp as the kitchen tap.

Just for your information. This is a picture of the problem. I have noticed on some of the houses there is what looks like a fixing going through the last piece of the verge. See the picture below. Can any one confirm what it actually is? Many thanks for all your help so far. Mark

Hi there. I was up in my loft and discovered that both my bathroom extraction fans ventilate directly into the loft space. One of these has been covered by loft insulation. There is no ducting to vent the air outside on eihter of these. Is this normal? Or should they be vented outside...

I have now taken photos of the problem with this verge and sent them to the technical guys at marley. It looks like my house is not the only one in the development with this problem also. Ill let you know what happens.

Hi. Just a quick question. The sewerage vent pipe on my roof does not have a protective cover over it. Does it need one and should it have one? Its a new build development and the first house has them. Then the remaining 4 don't. Thanks Mark

Hi all, I moved into a new build house in late Dec 2006. At the start of Jan 2007 while I noticed that the leading dry verge on the roof had fallen off. I sent a fax to the builders with all my snagging stating this. I came home yesterday to find the next piece of dry verge had fallen off...

The other half has a cat so I was thinking of buying some Texecom pet immune PIR’s for my forthcoming alarm. I would rather just dig a hole in the garden and bury the moggie but she doesn’t like that idea. Are these PIRs any good, and if not any suggestions??? Many thanks Mark

Hi there. I just bought a new house and am wanting to install an alarm into it. Anyone have any recomendations?? Wires for the PID's were installed by the builder so It can be a wired system. I am however not wanting to spend too much as i have lots to do. Any help appreciated.
