Could the cables beneath be boxed/cased in across the full width of the consumer unit so as to conceal them completely? Should that remove even a C3?
Basically what does containment of the cables mean - is it flameproof flexi trunking? Is it a metal housing around the exposed cables ? That’s really what I’m trying to establish …

Ongoing problem with a Combi boiler (Remeha Avanta Plus 28c)
When hot tap is opened boiler starts up and hot water runs for about 15 seconds then runs cold and boiler stops. Interestingly the CH Flow pipe is absolutely red hot despite no heating called for.
