The room is a rectangle, had a dry run already but not to sure how to measure up for the border? Im keeping the existing skirting border and adding beading to hie the expansion gap, should i just get the perfectly straight border as close to the wall as possible and just cut out some skirt...

thanks you for your response. I have not starting laying as yet. if i follow the wall then i cant not use a plunge Saw for speed and accuracy, if i do a straight border i can use the plunge saw but i need to cut the blocks down is that right

Help please I'm in the process of installing a parquet herringbone bone design with a two block border around the outside unfortunately my walls are not straight what is the best way around this problem ? Should I just make the border blocks follow the lines of the wall Thanks :|
