    color of cement

Use a 5:1 or 6:1 ratio, that should be fine I think. Incidentally, you can get cement colourants from builders merchants, if you want a different colour.

electrical installation regulations etc - Help needed

A friend of mine has recently nearly blown himself up after installing a homebase (pah!) dimmer switch 8 months ago. Question is, under the electrical regs, is he allowed to install a new dimmer switch? If anyone could answer that for me, I'd be very grateful Thanks Matt

    Treatment of tradesmen (or tradeswomen!)

I've always treated tradesmen right, paid on time, cups of tea/coffee. I even left bacon et al when I was out at work while they were here. They did always use the backdoor though, my front door is a damn nightmare to get anything through   anything above about 1.8m long has...

You could always try searching your prefered song download site for an acapella version of the song? Some sites list them, some don't.

    Rubbish summer affected business?

I'm a sales rep for an aggregate company. We've been so busy the last month we can barely keep up! Since the rain stopped we've been flat out busy, in fact, we've not been able to keep up with demand, I assume due to the fact that the weather has played havoc with everyones schedules...

    Runtime error - line 83

2 things I'd suggest: 1. As softus says, get a proper browser, I suggest Firefox 2. Get rid of anything with Norton on.. Do a search on the web for Norton and you'll find plenty of reasons why.

    Scam Baiting

Love it Soggy/dave/shiver. The more people that waste these bastids time, the better IMO. I'm signed up, reading through.. Should be interesting   Will pass the link on to a few of the other forums, if you don't mind?

    New contract at work

customers: This is not legally enforcable under statute law in the contract regulations act (I will find the proper bit later) if it would deny the person a chance of earning a living. If you are going to take customers when you leave, thats the companies own lookout. However, there are parts...

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with that response.. Would you stop the NSPCC or Childline putting a link to their website on here?

Website.. Please read before you decide whether to delete!

I run a forum for suffers and families of those affected by Meningitis. Would it be ok for me to post the site on here? It's not for profit in anyway, and it's only there to help people, same as this site. Mods?? Anyone?

    JTL Training.

I'd have to agree. All the lads that I've seen pass through the Malton Branch seemed ok to me, when I was working at Travis round the corner. Obviously this is my opinion from the outside. :D

    3-way concrete fence posts

You could try these guys: http://www.supremeconcrete.co.uk/ We used to buy from them.. both in the south and the north. Ask them for suppliers local to you. You may struggle on the size though.. We only used to keep them in 8ft, with 6ft panels being the most popular.
