well done ChrisR it was indeed the PCB got one next day for £59 fitted it and whooosh nice and warm again! so thanks for your help pal :wink: 8)

£100ish for a new pcb is it an easy job or do I need to get a pro in? pretty good at diy stuff and used to fix audio amp in my youth so have a little experiance with boards and stuff?
