    So are you saying thats good or bad. As i said in earlier post my friend works for BG. He's earning a lot less than he was when he worked for himself. OK, so he also does a few jobs on the side for cash. He has to keep looking over his shoulder when he does though as its a sackable offence...

    Alpha 240p Ignition Fault

    I came across the same fault. Even though these boilers have electronic ignition, there is still a pilot light and thermocouple. In this instance it was a faulty thermocouple, and once replaced the boiler was fine. I'd also check and clean the pilot jet at the same time.
