Hello If I overboard my ceiling (currently seems to be made of thick cardboard, no plaster), will I be best off using screws? If so, what are they called and what size? I have to use quite light and small bits of plasterboard as I am a girl and lack the neccessary arm strength.

Hello I am replacing a pendant light in my kitchen but regular ceiling rose innards are too deep and wide. The only advice I have been given so far is to use connectors, but I am keen to earth it as it has a metal pole. Does anyone have any ideas or know of any slim fittings?
