Sorry about my knowledge but am just a mere woman - not an electrician although was married to one for 20 years but let him do the electrics while I concentrated on the 'womanly' things.
Yes had an electric cooker before and still do as its still wired up so could actually take the wire out of...
It is an Indesit 240v 50/60 Hz 9300 W
I was given the cable with the cooker from the shop where I bought it.
Have now found the connector box on the back of the cooker
It has 3 connection points
top is marked L (for live)
middle is N (for neutral)
bottom is for Earth I presume...
I need to attach the wire to the cooker as I have bought a second hand cooker (nearly new) but it has no flex attached to it - sorry am just a "simple woman" !!!! :wink: :oops:
