Thanks for replying. That was my thought too. I have tried that but no movement. It does seem to be the only option though - I’ll put a bit more muscle into it! Thanks again!

Hi All I know it’s been asked before, but I’m struggling to remover my riser rail. I can’t find any decorative caps that could be hiding screws! Pics attached. Thanks for your help. MBR
