All is working fine now, the vent at the top had stopped working and after several "vents" it stayed alight. Thanks all

I have taken off the heat exchanger again and refitted it, I now have the hot water pressure back but the gas burner still goes out after about 20-30 seconds on both the HW and heating. It was fine before I replaced the exchanger.Is there anything I could try or should I call my Man???.

Thanks Gasguru There was no new flow regulator and it seemed to be clean when refitted. I will drain it down and check it again.

Do you mean the rad valves,If so yes. I have fitted countless heating systems but always get a Corgi to fit the boiler so I suppose you are right. :(

I have just replaced the water to water heat exchanger after it leaked water into the heating system. Now I have a loss of pressure on the hot taps and the gas burner goes out after about 30 seconds,same when the heating goes on.Thanks
