if your talking about an inline fan then as long as you mount the fan a least 1 meter from the bathroom end of the duct it should be fine. assuming you got rcd protection at db-earth the duct.

Can any body tell me how to change from the 1.5/2.5/6mm over to 10/16/22mm on the ratchet crimper. The ends come off but i didnt get any other ends to change to???

screw drivers are rubbish.broke 4 in a month. also cant get crimpers on the larger sizes when according to screw fix they crimp up to 22mm

Bought 6 piece set one month ago,pozi head rounded,3flat heads snapped.Even the little one with a clip on the side has fallen to bits without even using it. NOT a bargain. FORGESTEAL more like FORGE TIN. That said, the crimping tool is good. Cant work out how to set it up to the larger sizes...
