Thanks for the reply. A quick update in case it's of use to others. Hive is working fine now using those new connections - but I did have to change the backplate for the Hive-supplied one. Nearly compatible - but not quite.

Hello All, Just like a sanity check on a CH thermostat replacement exercise. I'm replacing a Horstmann Centaurplus C17 thermostat with a Hive V2 single channel receiver. Simple controls - there is no room thermostat currently, just thermostatic rad valves on all bar one radiator, no hot water...
