    Hi - I'm planning a lean to down the side of our house - similar to the below What kind of fixings would be best to secure the horizontal roof support that goes on the house side ? I've always used screws for that kind of thing but would some kind of bolt be better ? Thanks

    Radiator not turning off if hot

    Hi all One of our radiators is behaving oddly. When it's hot . We can't turn it off with the valve. I.e. turn to 0 and no effect With the valve at 0, If we turn off the heating , let everything cool down and then turn it back on then the rad stays off Any ideas? The thermostatic head is...

    yeah I was wondering about that on another thread but a) it wasn't clear if I could put a 240V bulb in a 12V downlight fitting due to no earth?? and b) the 12V connector is sprung and its that that holds the bulb in place so I couldn't find a suitable replacement

    Can anyone identify these switches please

    We're replacing 12V halogens with non-dimmable 12V LEDs and I don't think these would work would they ? Am I correct reading that these are rated to 220 W ? So having 7x50W halogens on one switch is overloading them ?
