How do I know when I've drained the system enough?
I assumed that once the two pipes are capped that any air would be hard to purge?

I am shortly going to be replacing my upstairs heating pipework and TRV's.
Obviously I need to drain the system first.
I will be doing this over a few evenings and so that I can continue to have hot water from the combi do I just cap the flow and return pipes where they start upstairs...
