Yes plasterboard then skimmed, i guess joins should not be visible

Just had a plasterer in to do a new extension, he has left the walls with join lines where he sectioned off the wall where he then plastered in sections. I have complained saying the joins are rough and that i will see them when decorated. They are all bumpy and not even level on each section...
