BM - I tried the immersion yesterday and didn't even get any hot water - just warm! So that's a no-go sadly! Probably something else I need to save my money towards :)

Evening all - I have an oil fired system. Boiler was serviced recently and seems to work well. Heating works well (as expected - house is warm enough for me!) We've never had much capacity in the HW though - Normally two showers a day is the lot. We have cold feed appliances and don't use HW...
