As the article said, it doesn't fit in with the WWII narrative .
Like the looting and black marketeering that doesn't fit with the spirit of Londoners in the Blitz, it needed to be suppressed to keep up the accepted version for morale and self image etc.
A mixed grill used to have a bit of liver and kidney as well , it was not a just a breakfast with bit of steak and chicken thrown on it beside the economy sausages.
I bet the Roman Empire declined once they started messing around with the legionnaires' breakfasts.
I've said it before, the state of things today is down to two things.
1- introduction of chocolate into breakfast cereals
2- the decline of the mixed grill

She signed the SEA .
