Thanks for the replies. To be on the safe side we sent some samples of for testing and looks like we were all right :) good news is no asbestos found :)

Hi all I've started removing this from the ceiling but someone told me that it could contain asbestos! I thought it was just some sort of textured paint, but seems it might be Artex. Could it be the more modern Polytex (so hopefully wouldn't contain asbestos) or is it likely to be Artex? Or is...
