international is just another brand you can get at b&Q mate. I've tried virtually all brands of gloss to be honest I was after a suggestion of a certain type of paint that someone may have used in the past if possible. Thanks anyway though

How's that when you can get overpaintable silicones??

Cheers for that Richard, it's just the plasterer said to leave it for 3 months. Which sounded far too long compared to what I have left it for in the past which was usually around 3 weeks to a month before painting. We'll only be using a breathable imulsion anyway.

if i let the plaster all change to the paler colour first would there be any damage done by using a dehumidifier? new posters please?

I've always used products such as gap filler for stuff like that and never had any probs with even bigger gaps. As long as you give it a good finish with a trowel or similar. No more nails is also good for filling stuff like that up.

Yeah that's what some say but others say they have done it with no problems.

i'd just bodge it mate with silicone and paint over
