I agree with masona. Footing size is purely dependant on load and ground conditions and are tabled in the Building Regs. For a single storey cavity 500x200 at a depth of 900 will be OK but is dependant on ground condition and your Local Authority. Give them a ring.

My New World Series II gas oven (circa 1988) needs urgent attention. It clicks as soon as the oven is turned on, presumably igniting the gas within. Trouble is, it continues to click all the time the oven is on, albeit not quite so rapid as it does at the beginning, and I'm not sure why...
