Hi I need to change some rad valves am I right in thinking that if I turn the boiler off at the main switch then tie the ball cock up in the header tank I can then drain the system from the downstairs drain point. The rad is upstairs that needs the new valves so hopefully won't need every last...

Hi We have the above and have checked that nothing is blocking the impeller. We then put a cleaner through it and when it finished checked and there was no water left in the bottom but later when we went to put some plates etc in the bottom around the filter was full of water again.Any ideas...
