I've a Bosch 18v impact so that comes out for woodwork
Never had any brush trouble but don't get massive use. Battery runs longer with brushless im not sure how much

They're not in any way a replacement for an MCB
The overcurent shut-off feature they mention would probably have some specific uses

They’d have some specific uses for sure
Controlling specific circuits subject to their rating which cant be relied upon . If they say 16A you still wouldn’t be switching an immersion direct with them
Definitely not a road you want to go down having a multifunction gadget per circuit

I'm just after realizing now that the monitors measure usage the same as the dedicated meters . Probably cos I'm not familiar with them :giggle:
How accurate would the clamp and inline type monitor be compared to the dedicated meter above

Except for the modular load monitoring which is a better practice than the clamping of wires in board etc
When I was in student campus accommodation in US im sure i recall they had circa 5A breakers on the rooms
So that would be 550w+

Opened it up and blasted the crap out of the switch with contact cleaner
Hey ho got it going again for about 18 months
Replacement is brushless and metal chuck only about 60 on amazon
