is that my only option as i do not require a switch there no longer, can access the cable under the floor boards in the room above if that helps, seem to be lighting cable and a thinner cable running down to were the switch was located.

Hi, i did have two light switches in my front room that only one seemed to be working, so as i did not require the one that was not working i removed the switch and taped the wires individually and filled the hole in but unfortunately the other switch that operates the light is no longer...
