no I did it with a spanner/pair of pliers and when the water is turned on it still streams out. How tight does the center bleed need to be?

I have just fitted a new bleed valve to my radiator. i turned the water off at both ends removed the old one and replaced with the new one once all was tightley fitted i turned the water back on and water just constantley squirts out of the little hole next to the valve can anyone shed some...
