Thanks That's genius - I hadn't thought of that. Sounds like an excellent solution. One other thing - We have precast holes in the mouldings - what do you think would work best (along with the rapidset tile cement) - stainless steel screws or metal rods? Thanks again :D

Hello As the original external mouldings above our bay window had slumped and were starting to look pretty dodgy - we removed these and had new concrete cast mouldings made to replace these. The builders have already put the scratch coat and rendered ontop in the area where the mouldings are...
