Thanks the plaster was over the thermo blocks and is on all of the chimney breast, is that likely to be asbestos? This? Thanks, having an anxiety moment

Hi new here. Hubby opened up an old covered fire place as we have some damp bottom of stack. It was covered with a grey smooth looking board. However it wasnt board but some type of thick plaster with thermo blocks behind it. Hubby carried on saying it was bonding plaster and Im now panicking it...
