no sounds at all apart from fan running :x :x

mates baxi boiler wont ignite, when u turn it on fan etc come on put no sparks , any ideas on what to check, can check with multi meter if necassary, was working fine then 1 day wouldnt ignite no hot water or heating checked basics ie gas supply, electric etc thanks for any replies :evil...
