yup i saw those. Don't see how that would work, as it's a female end, and so is the exposed point. I've not been able to find a male bayonet blanking plug, other than the ends which have a thread on them to connect a hose

when i moved into this property, this is how the mains point looked before i connected the cooker (done by a professional) now i'm moving, i disconnected the hose. I understand that these bayonet type fittings are self sealing. I've also read that people also plug the hole with a blanking plug...
