It would appear that this unit does not have a shaft and bearing and the only way to cure movement is to replace the drum. Spares shop also said that these and other machines from hotpoint etc are now made in ITaly and are complete junk. :x :x

On an indesit WI 121 the drum is rubbing on the seal, is this a problem with the drum or can the seal expand or something? I have removed the seal and cleaned all limescale gunk from behind but this has made no difference. :(
