It was the fan siezed. Fixed rate repair so ended up expensive for engineer just to oil the fan! Hoped it was PCB or Replacement fan to get my moneys worth! Engineer said not normal oil they use, does anyone know what that stuff is called (he said non flammable!)

seco services does your installers manual give part number or reference for the PCB ? cheers

ah , ok been long weekend! no multimeter here to test at mo, if pressure switch is at fault can this be easily replaced? do the red and white tubes just come away or are they sealed? no gas running through these I take it!!!! Poor design on this boiler as the pressure tubes get...

then 2 bulbs not lit No. 3 pressure switch proved and No.4 pilot/pcb proved

there are 2 orange lights lit (more little bulbs than LED, how old is this thing!?) one looks to have '12' printed on the pcb next to it. when u turn thermostat on boiler right down and click off just one light remains

there is a hum from boiler but thought that was the pump noises tranfsferring. When it was working before the usual sequence was pump, then fan then ignite. Seems to be stuck at pump now. when It fired yesterday on HW side only same thing, demand for HW by switching to +1hr, hear pump...

stat on boiler at nearly max (always set at around 80%) room stat up high and cylinder at 70 degress. Did move this to max but still same happens, boiler runs no ignition!?
