    Thanks for the reply. The flash has wiped out the shinny copper, it has been rubbed down and all bare wires are U shaped and screwed into the clamps. I think the photo doesn’t show it too well.

    Is it OK to join two into one clamp? Is this suitable or should I have another clamp on the middle pipe going to the bottom one? Thanks in anticipation.

    As some of you may know I am fitting a new electric shower. I am looking for a 40A MCB. Unfortunately I can’t find one the same size. I’ve tried Screwfix, B&Q Wickes and local electrical shops... Does it have to be the same overall size as long as the rear connection is the same...

    new toilet

    Just bought a new bathroom suite recently (from B&Q) and the toilet is excellent. The cistern holds 6 litres. Very efficient I must say, much better than the old 9 litre model. One flush clears all! :lol:
