John, Thanks at least we now have something to work on, the problem out here is not speaking the language and everyone telling you something different. When you say length of cable do you mean going to the new fuse box?

We have done an self contained extension to the property and need to run a mains cable from our present house to the extension as we need to fit a fuse box and meter to the extension. What weight cable would be advised to run lights, plugs and water heater?

Help, have moved and cannot find out what size cable is needed to install our Belling Cooker. 14 Kw Max with everything running. Thanks
