The wires were supposedly extended (aroun the garage wall) from the original switch for the boiler...I really don't know anything about electrics so no idea how to answer the previous posts questions...other than the plumber doing the work isn't taking any responsibility for it so I'm not having...

No the Boiler still works and the sockets etc still work...only the lights going off...maybe a coincidence

We have recently had our oil fired heating boiler replaced 2 days ago...since then our lights downstairs have fused twice... Is this just coincidence or is if possible that the new boiler could be affect the lighting circuits?? The upstairs circuit has been fine every time...
