sorry, second hand value is what was fitted ealier this year. Yep the gas presure is fine, already checked that thanks. Last time when the gas value went we had no hot water or heating at all, where as now the problem is intermittent which makes me think that its possibly not the gas valve...

I have and he said that he couldn't come out till early next week. I then called out another company who promised to come round after 2pm and at 3.30pm I rang them to ask where they were and they apolgised and said sorry but they wouldn't be able to come round today after all!
