the ideal car for that money is a skoda fabia or felicia i have had 6 skodas and they are fantastic cars they are very reliable and pretty reasonable to run if its a workhorse the lady wants they are perfect you can pick them up for silly prices worth a look

can anyone recommend a stud/pipe/cable detector that works well ? the bosch multi-function unit looks good but some people dont like it -is it better to get seperate units or a multi function unit -------thanks

I agree 100% but i have used the pound shop nails for mostly fencing and bits and bobs and they have been quite adequate for the job but if its the high quality work then yes its the pukka stuff every time :wink:

you can save on expensive nails/screws if you visit pound shops they sell packs of nails /screws /fittings -which are fine for general diy -i also never throw any spare nails /screws away they always come in handy - if you notice any useful looking wood etc in a builders skip they will...
