Hi Panic over. The only thing that reset it was 4321. I was reading the installation manual online earlier and seen that code in there. It appears that my "new code" was never set in the first place. Ive gone through the process of trying to change it and it keeps giving one error...

oK help, I've pressed the FULL button and its set. I've entered my code to unset its not accepting it and the alarm is going off!

Hi Thanks for your prompt response. The door contact is there - its a round flush disc on the door and a plastic 1" by 1/2 inch plate on the frame. They are lined up but not touching, do they need to be? We took the door off to paint it recently could it be connected?
