i found out my problem, it was the crank positioning sensor that was at fault. intermitent and not calling for fuel from the pump. the citroen dealer part was £28 a patent part cost £15 and its just one bolt that holds it on. :D :D

It seems mine was a crank positioning sensor that wasn't communicating with the fuel pump, I got from Citroen for £28.00 a patent part was £15.00 from BMS and just one bolt to change it :-) :D :D :D :D

mine seems to totall different, it has 2 high voltage cables going in the bottom and a green multi plug! and its black all over apart from the underneath, any ideas anyone? look in my album theres 4 pic's of it. dont know how to load them on here!

hi is the relay in the engine bay bulkhead or on the inside drivers bulkhead behind that pull out panel?

:? :? I cant see a brown relay or any relay on my bulk head, the pump runs until the engine cuts out then you cant hear it running, unless you leave it a few minutes then try it again,it does sound a bit squeeky when running, otherwise you just hear it clicking.

i think I have the same problem on an 2003 2.0l HDI can you tell me where this relay is and what it looks like as mine has been off the road for 2 months now and it is very frustrating.
