You are right it was under floorboards next to chimney breast. Thanks everybody .Sorry I left it so late.

It is not in the airing cupboard as I have checked there. There is a panel on side of the chimney breast and I have opened it up and it is not there either. I will have a look at floor boards next to chimney breast and let you know if I do find it.
