    Ideal Mini C28 burning smell.

    Cheers man. It's a combi boiler. Looks like the pressure valve has leaked and the water has gone into the PCB, causing that to blow. A TCP like smell? British Gas are dealing with it (getting a replacement board for tomorrow). Is this an easy fix for them or am I looking at a worse case...

    Ideal Mini C28 burning smell.

    My Ideal Mini C28 has started making a burning smell (similar to the smell you get on elements when you use a new toaster?). I'm completely in the dark with stuff like this. Pressure valve shows around 0.8, lock out signal lamp is on red, green 'on' LED flases repeatedly. Any ideas? :(
