Vaillant boiler being a pain in the a**

Hi, I have changed the water pressure sensor the f75 code has gone but the boiler is in this weird loop of going on and off. No codes present.

Vaillant boiler being a pain in the a**

hi I am not a gas safe engineer, I have already wasted money on 3 call-outs with people giving me different opinions on why it’s not working. I am not willing to spend anymore money. I have a family who I’ve had to move into their grandmothers because it’s just too cold to stay here and I’ve...

Is that when you turn the water temperature knob all the way anti clockwise and then back to desire temp so the green light goes off. Tried this? Still doing the same thing

Vaillant boiler being a pain in the a**

Hi guys, So yesterday morning I woke up to a f75 error code on my 2006 vaillant boiler ecotec pro 28. After some research I decided to replace the water pressure sensor as the cheapest place to start. So in doing so, I isolated and drained the boiler, fitting new sensors, repressurised the...

1 radiator the bane of my life

Update.. so I turned every radiator on in the house (7 of them) and now the radiator is quite hot at the top to the point it’s giving off heat and Luke warm at the bottom. So the troubled radiator only gets hot if all of the radiators are on, but if I switch off the kitchen, downstairs toilet...

1 radiator the bane of my life

Possibly, you might be right however the water exiting the valves on the pipes have the same pressure as if I were to use the hose pipe in the garden from the mains so if there was obstruction in the pipes I would see a reduction in the pressure of the flow even if by a little no?

1 radiator the bane of my life

Hi wayners, thanks for the reply, could it still be a blocked pipe when I opened both return and flow valves whilst radiator off the wall and had the fill valve open so water could gush out into a bucket? I mean it wouldn’t be impossible to replace the pipes but it would mean having to take up...

1 radiator the bane of my life

Right guys I am quite literally stumped with a constant confused look on my face. So did what I needed to do as advised in my previous thread about flushing the system found here: https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/flushing-the-central-heating-system.635022/page-2 So after taking the rad in...

    Flushing the central heating system

Perfect I shall do this. Also do I need to isolate the boiler from the system before I do this?

    Flushing the central heating system

I see, I will take the rad off the wall again and open the return valve. Should I keep the fill open under the boiler whilst I do this so water continuously comes out the opened return valve?

    Flushing the central heating system

the radiator in question is in a room on top of the kitchen where the boiler is so the pipework from the boiler to this radiator is probably less than 4m
