We currently have a broken inherited Mira Sport 9kw, which we'd like to replace with something else as I have not been overly impressed. The only problem is the water pipe is on the left close to the shower screen, which means most showers just won't fit. Can anyone recommend a good shower(s)...

Our shower is broken so we are looking to buy a new one, but I'm not sure if our current shower is 8.5 or 9.5. Is there any way of finding out ourselves before calling in a plumber/electrician? (The shower was installed by the previous owner and I don't have the manual/receipt).
