Pyronix do a Vocaliser that has 4 alarm inputs and dials 4 phone numbers, you can also dial into it using mics supplied, It retails for around £130

Have a look at something like the Genie 5324V-they have colour daytime with B&w IR night-time illumination, they are also vandal. As for DVRs, concept Pro do a nice 4ch full time recorder with main and spot monitor outputs and can also be networked if necesary

I agree that if you install an Alarm in YOUR house it can only be YOUR fault if it doesn't work properly. If you supply and fit an Alarm in SOMEONE ELSEs house then it is your problem if it doesn't perform as you have supplied and fitted the alarm incorrectly.

You need to be registered to be able to supply Certificates for insurance, it's no good installing an Alarm then a week later the place is burgled because guess what, insurance won't pay out and more than likely they'll come knocking on your door for answers!!!!!!!

All zones should be 12hr meaning active when set apart from any dectector violated upon entry which should be set as Entry for first dection point ie door contact and then Access for a PIR in the Hallway(if fitted)

hi, If i'm right in thinking in the panel you should have SAB TMP =Tamper Return Bell - =Bell Trigger (0VDC GND) Bell + =12VDC supply Strobe - =Strobe - strobe + = Strobe + Each bell box uses slightly different termanology but all basically work the same

Hi, There are ways to reset the codes on the panel but it will also default all the settings on your zones back to factory settings. I would suggest talking to a local company who can default and reprogram the panel for you. It's not the sort of thing that can be done on a forum unfortunately...

Hi, I would suggest getting in contact with SSAIB or NACOSS,they would be able to put you right regarding legal requirements. Anyone can install an intrudeer alarm, it just becomes sticky once insurance companies get involved
