    Trickle vent identification

No part number or model whatsoever :( The external bit has screw cap that broke as soon as you touch them as they harden with weather. Plus there is a tiny sealant stripe on top (that broke as soon as I removed the vent) to avoid water ingress from the top. Never understood trickle vents but...

    Trickle vent identification

All the windows in my house have trickle vents like this. Does it mean the installer went around and removed the caps on a dozen of windows? And that would be because?

    Trickle vent identification

Are these indeed the same as mine? Mine seems to have lower edges at both ends, whereas the ones suggested have curvy edges at both ends

    Trickle vent identification

Hi, Any idea what model / part number the trickle vent in the attached is? One upvc window in the house I moved into has its exterior trickle vent missing (second attachment) and I am trying to find a replacement that matches the trickle vents in all the other windows of the house. Thanks

Right bath shower mixer for combi boiler

Pressure is ok in another bathrooms upstairs. Stopcock all fully open and no massive limescale in the mixer in question (I removed the head and I get the same flow rate out of the cord itself). It is as if that specific bathroom where the mixer in question is has low pressure. Unless, as I...

Right bath shower mixer for combi boiler

Hi, in the house I just moved in I have a combi boiler Ideal Logic ES35 (flow rate at 35C temp rise 14.5 l/min and specific rate of 16.9 l/min). Water coming out of the upstairs bath shower mixer (attached) is *very* slow, to the point that I can't really have a shower or even wash the foam...

Replaced trap with brand new trap and issue still occurs - I'll try the plunger suggestion next.

Ah and I'll also try and refit the existing trap and use the plunger.

Bathroom basin taking more than 1 day to drain

Removed the trap - some limescale but a shape that is designed to kind of accumulate water (see pic). After removing the trap i can see through the basin plug hole, so the order from the top is basin plug hole, trap as per pic and then short straight pipe into the floor... I'll try and pour...

Damp patches on garage inside walls

The door frame at the top seems ok really, i.e. no rotten frame but just paint coming off. What should I do? Like new door frame and all or more like apply some sealant around the door? On the pic of the bricks under the roof you see damp patches too, as if the thing was not relates to water...
