Dimmer switch fail? Switching on and off per the readings on the pendant fitting

Same problem here but lights on a dimmer switch power to light pendant reads as per 230 and tiny 0.3 wonder if my issue is a broken cable inside the flex

They are brand new but the one in the corner is an old one but looks like they used as a junction box wasted so much time on this, maybe ditch them and get 2 wireless and take all that out the equation. see if ScanTronic will let me swap over… didn’t think this would be that much agro TBH...
