Hi EICI i have exactly the same issue, did you find a compatible but lower profile foot? If anyone else has a solution that doesnt involve changing the lid or buying a different machine id appreciate advice thanks, i will start a new thread as im after thread spacing info so that i can see if...
Correction the part is a 12 volt T105 thermo actuator, easily found on ebay currently for around 9 pounds plus postage. Needed a little soldering but fitted and seems fine. The fan i have is a selv VA100 with shutter only, no pullcord.
For anyone else viewing this later its an actuator. Eltek brand model or ref KT105. its definatley burnt out after many years. Hopefully a simple swap job when i find the replacement part but it doesnt appear to be a part easily avaiable in the uk.
Hi all,
I have a vent axia selv fan in the bathroom but notice the shutter no longer opens (usually opens slowly). I think the me mechanism is burnt out as the fan it quite old. Does anyobe know what this part is called as id like to see if replacing it will fix the problem, pic attached. I...
Fyi for anyone else reading this later on, heres the issue and what i tried but didnt work: normally when a wash cycle is started the machine fills for 40-60 seconds or so then pauses filling for a split second or two before continuing and continuing with the wash/rinse/condition cycle all fine...
HB I also looked at the pressure switch inside and saw some tiny water droplets on the diaphragm where the tube connects to it and i realised i probably didnt blow through the rubber tube after flushing it so i did that and reconnected the pressure valve and tube and now the machine doesnt trip...
Thanks Assuhors, ive set mine to 2M ohms and each valve reading according to the meter (attached) is .003? If i set the meter to 200k ohms i get 3.8 from one valve and 3.7/3.8 from the other?
Just checked and the tube seemed clear, i also flushed a little water through it from the top using a syringe and saw it eventually come out of the little drain hose next to the filter at the bottom. Took off the switch (took a pic beforehand so i knew which way the cables connect) and could...
Hi again HB, ive got the lid off but i see the rubber tube from the switch goes down and out of sight around the drum, checking from the bottom the clip on the bottom of the hose is in a right bugger of a place to get to and the bit of the clip to grab is turned inwards so i cant get to it even...
Thanks JJ4091 and Mottie. Yes i had cleaned the part/tube that takes water from drum to drain pump a few weeks ago when it had a similar one off problem, there was lots of soap sludge in there and what i assume was calcified coating on so i got all that out and also checked the drain pump for...
Hi all, my 20+ year old jlwm1201 washing machine has recently started going from fill (for maybe 20-50 seconds) to empty and the timer goes to zero with the saftey lock releasing (doir stays closed). This happens on any wash programme but tge machine still works fine on the spin only setting...
I have the same model JLWM1201 and its just started having similar problems. Anyone know how easy it is to get the pcb out as im happy to give it a try but all the times ive replaced bits on mine (drain pump and brushes) ive never seen where the pcb is or how to get at it. Thanks.
